Hey there! I just wanted to share a few images of the latest bouquet that I painted. You can see here how I went from a quick color/ new paper study to the final. That sketch took me about 15 mins and I actually like the lightness of it.

Our Turkish home has a big patio roof which makes me dream of my own garden with flowers, and herbs, and some furniture and canopy. The summer is pretty hot here so I have to figure what best to grow there, and now it's the time to do it. Stay tuned for more sketches and pictures!

Столько хочется написать, что я даже не знаю с чего начать. Стоит пожалуй упомянуть что я сейчас пишу из Турции! Ветер перемен закинул нас сюда на сколько-то месяцев и у меня опять появилось желание вести блог. Пару месяцев этой осени я провела в России..впервые за 5 лет! Бесчисленное колличество эмоций.. и я задалась вопросом: "А где же теперь мой настоящий дом?". Итак я предпочитаю ответ - ВЕЗДЕ! В душе я цыганка, только разве что по руке не гадаю..хотя еще не все потеряно)

We were given a floor plan to rework. Here is what I was able to do. I can't say that I completely satisfied with this work, but it is a process.

Drawing for design is one of my favorite classes. It is amazing how slowly I start to look at the object from the different perspective. Below are some technique study drawings that I did during the past 2 weeks.

Studio I Class - Abstract thinking (Part 1)

The goal here was to create an interesting space from the kit of parts shown below. Our structure was supposed to have at least one private space, one public and one transitional. This project is to be developed to fit into the real existing area. 

The model is made out of basswood + sanded acrylic sheet.
